What is the Partner Certification Program?

Before you start

You need a Neurotone Pro Portal account. Certification is free. There is no fee for provider certification and no fee for practice certification.

The two kinds of certification

Provider certification belongs to you as a clinician. You earn it by passing an assessment. It has no levels, and you can hold more than one.

Practice certification belongs to your practice. Your practice does not pass a test for it. Your practice applies, and then Neurotone calculates its level from your team’s certifications and your monthly license volume.

This is the difference readers get wrong most often. Passing an assessment earns you a provider certification. It does not certify your practice.

What you can earn as a provider

There are two provider certifications: Lace Pro certification and Tinnitus Pro certification. Each assessment takes Under 60 minutes and has 40-50 questions. You pass at 80%. You can retake an assessment as many times as you need, with no waiting period.

Your certification page lists one card per certification you can earn.

What your practice can earn

Your practice can hold a Lace Pro practice certification, a Tinnitus Pro practice certification, or both.

Lace Pro has three levels:

Level 1. More than 60% of your team is certified in Lace Pro.
Level 2. Level 1, plus your practice averages at least 3 licenses per prescribing provider per month.
Level 3. Level 2, plus an average of at least 5 licenses per prescribing provider per month, plus one provider passes Beyond the Fitting: Lace Applications Assessment.

Tinnitus Pro has one level. The number of certified team members you need depends on the size of your practice.

Your practice applies, then its level is calculated

Your practice is not certified until someone selects Apply for certification on the practice certification page. After that, Neurotone calculates your level from your team’s certifications and your license data, and updates it as your numbers change.

How long certification lasts

Neither kind of certification expires. Once you pass, your provider certification is permanent. Your practice keeps its level as long as it continues to meet the requirements.
