How to set sounds and soundscapes

Pick the sounds you hear during therapy. You can choose a single sound or mix your own soundscape (up to 3 sounds). Each therapy type—Adaptation, Habituation, Relief, and Sleep—can have its own sound.

Before you start

  • Make sure you’re in Tinnitus Pro and your clinic has enabled access.

  • Keep volume low and comfortable. You should never listen loudly.

Open the Sound Library

  1. From any therapy screen, tap Sound.

  2. The Sound library opens with tabs like All, My soundscapes, Binaural, and Color noise.

You can preview any sound by tapping it.

Set a sound for a therapy

  1. Open the therapy you want (Adaptation, Habituation, Relief, or Sleep).

  2. Tap Sound → choose a single sound from a category.

  1. Tap Save (or Apply).

  2. Repeat for other therapy types—each one remembers its own choice.

Tip: For Sleep, pick a gentle, steady sound. For Habituation/Relief, choose something soothing that blends with your environment.

Use a preset soundscape

  1. In the library, scroll to My soundscapes (you’ll see built-in presets like Nature, City, Rain).

  2. Tap a preset to preview, then Save to use it for the current therapy.

Create your own soundscape (mix up to 3 sounds)

  1. In My soundscapes, tap + (Create soundscape).

  2. Pick up to three sounds (for example: Waves + Wind + Birds).

  3. Use the sliders to set each sound’s level until the blend feels right.

  4. Tap Save, give it a name, and it will appear under My soundscapes.

  5. Select it to use with the current therapy.

Edit, rename, or delete a soundscape

  • Go to My soundscapes → tap the pencil icon next to a soundscape to adjust levels or rename.

  • Delete from the same menu if you no longer need it.

Tips

  • If your tinnitus is very sharp, try soft, steady sounds (rain, white/pink/brown noise).

  • If your tinnitus is hissy, try nature mixes or binaural options at low levels.

  • Change sounds anytime—variety can reduce listening fatigue.

  • For the best Adaptation results, make sure your tinnitus tone is set (see “How to set my Tinnitus Tone”).

Troubleshooting

  • I do not hear anything. Raise the device volume slightly, ensure your phone isn’t muted, and confirm a sound is selected.

  • The mix is too busy. Edit the soundscape and lower one or two sliders, or switch to a single sound.

  • My choice didn’t stick. Sounds are saved per therapy—set it again in the therapy you’re using.
