Regular check-ins help you and your clinician see how tinnitus is affecting you and whether therapy is working.
When you’ll be asked to check in
- Onboarding: you’ll take a short 5-question survey.
- Every 4 weeks: the app will prompt you to take it again.
- Anytime: you can start a check-in yourself from My Progress.
Your answers are shared with your clinician so they can support your care.
Do a check-in from a reminder
- When the Tinnitus check-in prompt appears, tap Start survey.
- Answer 5 questions about how you’ve been feeling over the past week (1 = Never, 5 = Almost always).
- Tap Done. You’ll see a confirmation message.

If you are busy, tap Maybe later—you can complete it anytime from My Progress.
Do a check-in anytime
- Open Tinnitus Pro.
- Tap My Progress.
- Tap Check in now and complete the 5 questions.

See your results
- Your most recent score and a plain-language label (for example, “Mild,” “Moderate,” etc.) appear in My Progress.
- Each new check-in updates your score so you can track changes over time.
Lower scores mean less impact from tinnitus.
Tips
- Answer based on your last 7 days, not just how you feel right now.
- Try to complete each check-in around the same time of day for consistency.
- If your score suddenly changes, consider adding a note for yourself (sleep, stress, illness) and share with your clinician.
Troubleshooting
- I do not see My Progress. Make sure you’re inside Tinnitus Pro and signed in.
- Reminder disappeared. Open My Progress → Check in now to complete it anytime.
- My score didn’t update. Close and reopen the app, then check My Progress again.
