How to enable Tinnitus Pro for a patient

Give a patient access to the Tinnitus Pro mobile app during patient creation or by editing an existing patient.

Before you start

  • Make sure your practice has Tinnitus Pro turned on. If you have not enabled it yet, see How to enable Tinnitus Pro for my practice first.

  • If creating a patient, you’ll need the patient’s first name, last name, email, phone number and any other details about their hearing care.

Option 1: Enable during patient creation

  1. Go to Manage patients → click Add a patient.


  1. In Select products, check Tinnitus Pro (and keep any other products you want, such as Lace AI Pro).


  1. Fill out the patient details (name, email, phone, date of birth, zip, etc.).

  2. Click Continue.

What you’ll see: The Tinnitus Pro checkbox is selected on the form (see design). The patient will be created with access to Tinnitus Pro.


Option 2: Enable for an existing patient

  1. Go to Manage patients and open the patient’s profile.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. Under This patient has access to, check Tinnitus Pro.



  1. Click Save.

What you’ll see: The Tinnitus Pro checkbox remains selected on the patient edit screen. The patient now has access.


What happens for the patient

  • If this is a new patient, they will receive login details to access the Tinnitus Pro mobile app.

  • Otherwise, Access is active right away for existing patients after you save the changes.


Troubleshooting

I don’t see the Tinnitus Pro option.

  • Your practice may not have Tinnitus Pro enabled yet or you may not have permission to manage products. Enable it at the practice level first or contact your account manager.

The patient did not get the email.

  • Confirm the email is correct and ask the patient to check spam or junk. Send a new invite from the patient profile if available, or contact support.

Can I remove access later?

  • Yes. Edit the patient, uncheck Tinnitus Pro, and save.
